This is just a guide for helping you figure out how much material you need. This is not 100% accurate but will allow for more than enough materials for your project. Please remember you may need end posts for termination/fence end points.

You can also calculate materials using math Here are some instructions to calculate manually: How many posts do you need? Line Posts -> Take the total number of feet you need to install and divide by 6. Add 1. This will give you approximately how many posts you need. End Posts -> You need one end post where the fencing line ends. This will be at gates or near any house areas, anywhere the fence line comes to a stop. Corner Posts -> You will need a corner post at every corner. Gate Posts -> You will need one gate post for the hinge side to every gate. Walk gates will need one, double gates will need two. Panels -> Take the total number of feet you need to install and divide by 6. Add 1. Sometimes short sections need to be cut to fit in different areas that may be smaller than 6FT wide. Gates -> If you need gates, simply add to the cart which gate you need. 4FT wide and 5FT wide are available. Two gates can be put together to equal one double gate.
